Built with with HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript, this interactive competition takes advantage of some of the new elements available with HTML5, most notably canvas. With javascript layering 2 images on top of one another within the canvas element, the user is required to virtually scratch away the top image, in this case with a coin, to reveal either a Passport or a "Keep Scratching" message, complete with scratch audio effect for a more interactive feel. The objective is to scratch and reveal 3 diamonds which then allows you to complete the entry form to stand a chance of winning the Grand Prize of a $ 2000/£ 3000 travel getaway.
